Many things have changed over the past decade, certainly over the past year, but the one thing that has not changed is the Integrity and steadfastness of Scripture!

Scripture will never change.

It is our only bedrock and lifeline in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, pointing the ONLY way to know God.

This book says that we hold forth the light of life in the midst of this crooked and perverse nation.

So we must anchor ourselves to scripture NO MATTER WHAT IT COSTS US.

In an age where prophets are on every corner, and political points change at the sound of a dime being dropped, the Bible will not change in its stance, in its message, or in the hope it communicates to the world.

And this book calls us to something.
To BE something.
To DO something.
To BELIEVE something.
To ACT on something.

The word that the Lord dropped in my spirit to communicate is this…
He is calling us to consecration.

Consecration is an old-fashioned sounding term, but we fully understand the scope of what it means when we apply it to our personal life and relationships.

To consecrate something simply means to set it apart, totally and completely, TO SOMETHING OR SOMEONE.

It’s at THIS MOMENT in history that the Lord is calling his people back to FULL CONSECRATION TO HIM.

We are often so divided between so many different things and pursuits that we leave off the devotion that we once had to Jesus, yet THIS IS THE TIME for greater consecration to God than ever before.

You and I MUST understand the times.
We MUST understand what is happening around us.

There are believers who are being separated and segregated into many different camps, not according to what they necessarily believe spiritually, but according to what they believe politically and nationally.

The trouble with this, is NOT that we should NOT STAND for what we believe and for our God-given rights…the problem is that this separation draws us away from CONSECRATION to the LORD in this hour.

THE MOST IMPORTANT aspect of our life is NOT found in the political jargon of the world, but it is found in the dedicated consecration of our heart and soul to the Lord Jesus Christ.

If you look up the word, “consecration,” it is…to make irrevocably devoted to the worship of God.

And the Lord is CALLING his people IN THIS HOUR to greater consecration than ever before.

He is calling us to a consecration that makes us irrevocably devoted to him.

That forsaking all others…we give our heart and soul to him alone.
What does the Bible say? It says that we are to love God with ALL our heart, soul, mind, and strength!

What does that mean? It means CONSECRATION!

The Bible in the book of Joel, uses this word, and I want to look at scripture to unpack the complete meaning of this word.

Joel 1:14 NKJV
[14] Consecrate a fast, Call a sacred assembly; Gather the elders And all the inhabitants of the land Into the house of the LORD your God, And cry out to the LORD.

Again, in the same book, the same word is used…

Joel 2:15-16 NKJV
[15] Blow the trumpet in Zion, Consecrate a fast, Call a sacred assembly; [16] Gather the people, Sanctify the congregation, Assemble the elders, Gather the children and nursing babes; Let the bridegroom go out from his chamber, And the bride from her dressing room.

In both instances, this word means the same exact thing.
Here’s the biblical interpretation of the word consecrate:

to show oneself sacred or majestic
to be honoured, be treated as sacred
to be holy
to set apart as sacred, consecrate, dedicate
to observe as holy, keep sacred
to set apart, devote, consecrate
to keep oneself apart or separate

God is calling out to his people to be gathered together in CONSECRATION, calling out to him for the times in which we live.

This is the trumpet call of God to his saints to PREPARE THEMSELVES for the return of the Lord.

My heart is for the church that Jesus is building and returning for...the church that the gates of hell will not prevail against.
More than anything, the desire of my heart is to see the greatest revival of the Holy Spirit, salvations, spiritual awakening, and for the miraculous to come back to the church, preparing believers for the return of Jesus.
