Did you know that you DO NOT have to walk through the dark places of your life alone?
God is there. The promise of God’s word is that he will never forsake his people. You can trust him. You can count on the Lord. People may fail you and circumstances may hinder you, but the Lord of heaven and earth will not fail you or leave you dismayed. His presence is our strong tower. His NAME is the strong tower we run into for safety and protection.

Here’s what the Bible says…
Psalm 46:1-7 NKJV
God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High. God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at the break of dawn. The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved; He uttered His voice, the earth melted. The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah
God will literally be your refuge and strength when you feel surrounded by the enemy’s forces. He will not allow the enemy to touch your life and harm you, but you can count on the Lord to maintain a closeness to your life.
God stays close so that he can watch over, guard, and protect his children. If you love Jesus Christ, you ARE a child of God!
The word, “present,” in the passage above, in its simplest form means to APPEAR or to EXIST.
When the Lord says he is a VERY PRESENT help in our troubles, it means that he literally appears in the midst of them.
He exists where that trouble is trying to harm you, and the Lord of heaven is fighting on your behalf.
You don’t have to worry about whether or not you are fighting alone, because the Lord exists to help you in your time of need…because if you belong to Jesus, one of the benefits of serving him is that he will never leave you stranded and alone.
