Today is decision time for God’s people. He always leads us back to a point of decision, and in the current cultural climate, now more than ever we have to take our stand and stake the ground where we believe the Lord wants us to be.

Over the past couple of years, I’ve seen more and more people…ones I believed to be “rock solid” believers, begin to shift and move further away from the things they have always stood for and even taught to others.

There is a falling away taking place right before our eyes. Scripture said it would happen. My personal belief is that we are so very close to the rapture of the church.

Jesus is about to return for his church and now is NOT the time to waffle in what we’ve always known to be true.

Now is NOT the time to simply get up and change what you’ve always believed.

Right and left, people who have served the Lord are forsaking the faith that saved them.

We are not forced to turn away…
We have the ability to remain faithful.

Scripture says…

Joshua 24:15 NKJV
[15] And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

You can choose to serve the Lord.
You can choose to hold on to what is true.
You can be faithful in the things you’ve proven through faith.

Don’t walk away from what you know to be true, simply because culture is changing and has already changed!

It’s time for us to make the decision to serve the Lord and faithfully stick with him.

Scripture also says…

Hebrews 3:12-14 NKJV
[12] Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; [13] but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. [14] For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end,

I’m encouraging you to hold fast your deeply held beliefs. Those things you’ve been taught through the years are more important now, than ever.
Truth doesn’t change simply because people, culture, and ideas change.
Get ready church, Jesus is about to come, make your decision to faithfully stay close to him.

Our prayer:
Lord, help me to wake up to those influences that may be leading me in the wrong direction. Help me to make the right choices and decisions. Lead me down the right path, the path of truth. Do not let my heart fall into error or unbelief.

Larry Shankle

My heart is for the church that Jesus is building and returning for...the church that the gates of hell will not prevail against.
More than anything, the desire of my heart is to see the greatest revival of the Holy Spirit, salvations, spiritual awakening, and for the miraculous to come back to the church, preparing believers for the return of Jesus.
